ABOUT New Head Coach:
Derek "Maddog" Madsen has served as Assistant Coach for xx years.... He is also a graduate of Fredericton High School, and he too played for the Black Kats from 19xx - 19xx.
As a result, Maddog brings a wealth of experience to the position of Head Coach and is excited about this upcoming Football season.

ABOUT THE BLACK KATS FOOTBALL
T.E.A.M.
Established in 1985, the Fredericton High School Blacks Kats have won 14 High School Championships, and were a runner-up five times, in 35 years. The Black Kats have also won 13 of the 19 North-South Bowl Championships against their city rival, Leo Hayes Lions.
ABOUT Retiring Head Coach:
Oliver "OJ" Barnett served as Head Coach to the Black Kats for the past five years. Etc........

In August of each year, the Blacks Kats Football Head Coach invites eligible players from the previous year and any new players attending Fredericton High School to participate in the pre-season training camp. This is in preparation for the exciting fall season of High School Football.
To try-out, a student must be attending Fredericton High School, in good academic standing, and from either grade 10, 11 or 12. Only 45 students will be selected to be on the FHS Black Kats' T.E.A.M. each year.
